MY STORY
Welcome to my shop and my studio!
I am a visual artist and graphic designer originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, living in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, for the past 18 years.
I come from a long line of artistic, strong and determined women who diligently encouraged and nurtured my interest and passion for art and creativity from a very early age. I have been drawing, painting and creating art for as long as I can remember and being able to share my work with the rest of the world today is a great honour and privilege for me, as woman and as an artist!

Artful Kids!

Every time you purchase an original painting, print or card, you help me deliver free visual arts lessons to children of low income families in the City of New Westminster, British Columbia, through the Artful Kids! visual arts program.

I firmly believe that getting children and youth involved in visual arts is a powerful way to enhance and nurture their imagination, curiosity and natural talents. I also believe that art should be accessible to all children, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or socio-economic status,
as it allows them to express their creativity, discover new perspectives on the world around them and develop self-confidence. Using art as a vehicle for expression is enriching because it allows children to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and interests while encouraging enhanced critical thinking, goal setting, discipline and drive for success that benefit them for life!
Artful Kids!
"An introduction to the fundamentals of drawing and painting where each student’s own creative and technical skills are developed to enhance their ability to convey their intuitive ideas and experiment with various techniques and styles. Children are provided with a non-competitive,
non-judgemental classroom where personal interpretation and self-expression are key elements to their own artistic journey and where creative differences are encouraged and celebrated".
We are planning to re-launch Artful Kids! in the Winter of 2024...Stay tuned!
